It's 1998. Amelia Earhart and her band of time travelers kidnap scientist Rick Periwinkle to learn about his secret work on anti-aging. With their finicky wormhole closing, they bring him into the present to plan their next move. Meanwhile back in 1998, Rick's wife Lucy is suspected in his disappearance while suffering through her own existential crisis after sharing a drunken kiss with best friend Dana. The Amish and the FBI attempt to unravel the mystery on either end in this modern-day Rip Van Winkle tale
