On her final combat mission across the rugged mountains of Afghanistan, Royal Air Force fighter pilot Lt. Kate Sinclair's (Kirk) jet is shot down over one of the most dangerous rebel strongholds. While hiding in an abandoned underground bunker, insurgents hunting her down accidentally awaken a man-made deadly biological weapon known as the Ravagers - half human, half alien, and hungry for human flesh. Sinclair barely escapes and is picked up by U.S. Sergeant Hook (Howard) alongside his army patrol who were sent to find her. Major Roy Finch (Bamber), commander of the local U.S. army outpost 'Fort Apache', and his ragtag squad are hesitant to believe the Ravagers exist, completely unaware that she has been tracked, with dozens of the vicious creatures already swarming toward them.
